Happy New….Thanksgiving

Dear Travel Agents,  mayflowers

Can you believe it is already May? Where did the New Year go? It seems like only a few days ago we were talking about whether or not we should make a list of New Year’s resolutions. I said I was always against this practice, and the biggest reason is that once we turn around, it will be May. Then, before we know it, we’ll be preparing Thanksgiving in November, and being hard on ourselves regretting all resolutions we didn’t follow through with, and forgetting to celebrate all the resolutions we have accomplished.

Why?

People in general are hard on themselves based on their own self-expectations. We forget to consider that life gets in the way and sometimes, we need to redirect our goals, rethink our actions and most importantly, be caring, nicer and more forgiving of ourselves.

Yes, it is May, and almost half of 2018 has passed. We are still standing and fighting hard, despite all that life throws at us, people who push our buttons, and “nice” friends who ask from us more than we signed up to give. We are stronger than we could ever have imagined, even though our competition is getting under our skin and getting some of our best clients, and some of those projects and promises we were counting on haven’t happened so far.

Let’s celebrate us! Be happy May has arrived, and be optimistic!  We will be humble and thankful for all our blessings by Thanksgiving.

To each and every one of you, cheers!
